Kingston & District Agricultural Society (KDAS)

Kingston Fall Fair Horse Shows

1. All competitors/exhibitors MUST be fully paid-up members of the KDAS for this current year.  Adults $5.00 Youth (under 18) Free.  Membership to be paid with entries.

2. Entries are not considered complete without a correctly signed liability waiver form, proof of liability insurance on the horse (proof must be in the form of a current OEF membership or insurance agreement), and payment in full.  All cheques to be made payable to “KDAS”.

3. REFUNDS:  KDAS membership fee is non-refundable.  Entry fees will be returned if cancelled 24 hours prior to first class entered with appropriate medical documentation.  Once a horse has entered the show grounds there will be no refund unless authorized by the Kingston Fall Fair Horse Show Committee Chair.

4. All NO-SHOW entries will be charged full entry fees and other applicable fees.

5. A $50.00 charge will be added to all accounts paid with cheques that are returned from the bank for any reason.

6. Show management reserves the right to change or amend show scheduling up to one-half (1/2) hour prior to the designated class.   

7. Western:  Correct western attire, western boots, long or short sleeved shirts allowed and Western hat.  Competitors under 18 years of age MUST wear a correctly fastened ASTM/SEI approved helmet.  We strongly recommend that all riders wear a proper helmet.

8. There will be a 10-minute warning call before the start of classes.  Failure to come to the in gate will result in elimination, without refund of entry fee.

9. Warm up in the Memorial Centre is open to any competitor competing on that day but is restricted to the official hours.  Entry numbers must be worn at all times.

10. AGE DIVISIONS – Please refer to individual class lists.  Proof of age may be requested by the Committee. 

11. ALL PRIZE MONEY WILL BE AWARDED THE DAY OF THE SHOW.
